Being Cautious in Difficult Times

It's not easy being a nonprofit in times of COVID. Every time we think we can move forward, another deadly virus strain threatens our service to young adults in Woodland and Yolo. Yet, we know they need us more now than ever.

Amazingly, ALMS is getting referrals as far as West Sacramento and Davis, as well as youth returning to us from Woodland. How cool is that!

We want you to know that we are taking our time, being cautious, and following county guidelines. It's important to be an example to the next generation of young adults. ALMS respects the personal views of everyone, but must protect the integrity of ALMS and the community at large. I hope as donors and supporters that you can appreciate that, even if you don't agree with our position.

Our goal is to keep all participants, mentors, youth and staff from ever becoming infected from this contagious and treacherous virus. But for now, we celebrate that we are operating.

Due to the surge in the Delta variant, the August 21st luncheon and tour was postponed to a later date. We will contact BDOG donors and monthly givers when restrictions are lifted. Thank you for your patience. To view our website or participate in giving click on the link below.
